Selection of HL Agitated Filter & Filter Dryer

We are in unique position as a manufacturer and user of agitated filters and dryers in our own chemical plants. We have developed application lab facility and R&D center to porvide service to customers in choosing equipments, optimizing the use and training operators.

Years of R&D has helped us to update the equipment to make it almost maintenance free. We have developed filters for different applications and incorporated the latest in the equipment.

The options available in the equipment are categorized as under:

  • Top head, shell and bottom welded construction.

  • Bottom part with filter medium, detachable and trolley mounted. It can be lowered by hydraulic. Cylinder provided for changing filter medium. It can be lifted in position and held by "C" clamp bolts. This version is used where vessel entry is not permitted.

  • Quick lowering and lifting of bottom part with filter, held and locked in position by hydraulic cylinders (without "C" clamps), for fast cleaning and product change.

  • Drying version with heated filter plate, heated shell and / or heating in hollow shaft with blades. The drying vesion is available in both welded and detachable construction. Dust arresting system is provided with dryers.

  • Materials of construction availabel are SS 304, 316, 316L, different grades of hastalloy, Alloy-20 and rubber lined with PP filter plate.

  • CGMP Standards and sterilisable for aseptic conditions.

  • Non-explosion / explosion proof control panel.

  • Standard models are fitted with push button / lever operated control panel. Complete automation with PLC is also offered.

  • Different grades of gaskets : rubber, PTFE, PTFE encapsulated rubber, etc.

  • Shaft sealing with stuffing box having non-asbestos / FDA approved gland packings, mechanical seal - dry or wet type.

  • Fixed or variable speed of Agitator.

  • Different filter medium : synthetic cloth, natural fibre, wire cloth, multi-layered sintered wire cloth or sintered metal.

  • Vessel mounting on legs or hanging on lugs.

    Special customized designs are also offered to handle large quantity of slurry, conical bottom for liquid separation, higher pressure model for filtration, etc.
