Construction H.L. Ribbon Blender consists of a circular trough having two sets of spiral Ribbon,each set having one inner and one outer Ribbon. Both the sets are accurately positioned and oppositely pitched on the Agitator shaft to prevent localised accumulation and effect good mixing of the products. The trough and drive are mounted on a well engineered strucure.

Fast and Effective Blending The Ribbon ( inner and outer) are so arranged that when rotated it reaches each and every corner of the trough and imparts radial and linear motion to the whole of the materials to be mixed, producing homogenious mix of the product in the shortest possible time. The opposition pitched Ribbon configuration also brings material towards central bottom discharge port. when product has to be discharged.

Clean Working
H.L.Blenders are ground and buffed for clean working. Shaft entry is made through teflon bush hence complete cleaning and quick changing of product is possible. All other feature are standard, such as bottom outlet, charging hopper etc.. Blender is also available in GMP standards.

High Starting Torque H.L.Blender is fitted with high starting torque motor with positive and direct drive to the ribbon agitator shaft. The drive is fitted on rigid and compound structure to ensure highest starting torque for full load starting.

Applications
Principal use of Ribbon Blender is to make uniform and homogenous mixtures of powders, fine powders or liquids, one of them may be as low as 1% of the mass. Chemical, Dyes and Pigments industries use Ribbon Blender for blending dyes and pigments to get uniform mixture of the product. Also used for additive mixing like dedusting oils in dyes etc. Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics and Food industries use Ribbon Blender for formulations, uniform colouring and making talcum powders. Welding rod manufacturers use Blenders to prepare fluxes. Used wherever homogeneous mixture is required.
